Post-atomic city of Visaginas

After drastic demographic decline and governmental decision to shut down the atomic plant of already post-atomic Visaginas, the city suffers aftereffect consequences.

Bauland was commissioned by the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania in collaboration with Visaginas municipality to guide the strategic development themes for future development of the city. Planning process consisted of a series of creative workshops with local inhabitants and relevant stakeholders.
